Of a bird

Gently embracing the sky

Flow, flow my blood

Through the soft, so soft veins

Of dark, warm, wet mother earth

Burn my guts

Raided, Invaded, Infected

By nature’s fiercest spirits

Tremble my soul

Split open by the spear

Of violent beauty

For this could be the end
